The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse selected this 32’ Packcat R/V Prairie Springs for the UWL River Studies Center, bringing together students and faculty from a variety of programs to work on freshwater challenges in partnership with state and federal organizations. Specialized outfitting includes a gear driven Universal Sonar Mount for deploying high power transducers, wet lab with fresh and raw water faucets, and moon pool on the forward deck for deploying scientific equipment.
