Purpose: This vessel is operated by the United States EPA as an environmental sampling vessel to monitor contaminated sediments in the Great Lakes Basin.
Outfitting: This research boat is outfitted with a 72" wide x 96" long offset cabin that includes two captain seats, folding radar mast, 6,000 BTU air conditioner and a 7,000 BTU forced air diesel cabin heater. The hull is equipped with 3" D-rubber fendering, engine guard, three removable aluminum tables, deck storage locker, tie-down pockets on cargo deck, 64" bow door with 12v winch, one 12v anchor windlasses on each side of the bow, 12v anchor windlass with pulpit on aft. An Onan MDKBP 17 generator is located in the aft storage locker with seperate diesel fuel tank. A MaxiLift M200-3, 1,100lb capacity crane is mounted centerline on the cargo deck.

The hull is outfitted with 3" D-rubber fendering, removable engine guard, two thru-hull transducers (4" & 10") and two Honda 6,500 watt generators. The aft accommodates a moon hole with hatch for deployment and storage of a SONAR system.
